With more than two decades' experience as a financial planner and investment management for both high-net-worth and middle-income families, Sarah brings a unique set of skills, abilities and perspectives to her work as a financial expert in litigation.  Her own journey through divorce and its aftermath led her to become a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ in 2003.  She has been a respected testifying expert in multiple jurisdictions for more than a decade.

After several successful years with Morgan Stanley in the greater NYC area, Sarah became an independent financial advisor in 2006 in order to concentrate on the finances of divorce. Beginning as a financial expert in Montana in 2006, she expanded her practice to Washington State in 2012.   At the invitation of universities, state bar associations and local attorney groups, she has developed and taught continuing-education classes for attorneys and mental-health professionals that are praised for their content, practical application and humor.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Georgia, studying music theory, mathematics and Latin, Sarah was an intern on Wall Street in 1989 while simultaneously pursuing a graduate degree from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. Putting the financial world on hiatus, she was a full-time professional musician for over a decade, performing regularly with the Philadelphia Orchestra, New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and on Broadway; she is also a highly-regarded church musician. Coupled with her professional expertise, Sarah’s broad life experience gives her a unique understanding of the financial lifestyles of a very large range of families, individuals and professions.
